7TH ANNUAL CAR/MOTORCYCLE SHOW AUG 24

 Ready for some fun and excitement? Mark your calendar now and don't miss this exciting day as on August 24 the St. Anthony Parish will once again host a major Car and Motorcycle Show on the parish grounds. Registration begins at 9am and ends promptly at noon. We will have 24 judging classes, with three awards per class, and 6 special awards.
SO...come one and all and join us for a day of fun and fellowship. We will have great food, refreshments, music, games and lots of neat cars and cycles. The Car/Motorcycle Show is part of the two day St. Anthony Parish Festival. Mark your calendar now. Bring your family and friends. See you there ! |

2008 ANUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL

The Annual Catholic Appeal has been conducted at our Parish during the months of April and May 2008. This is the No. 1 Catholic Fundraiser in the USA aimed at helping the unfortunate and needy.
We have done our best to reach every parishioner at St Anthony during this inportant drive but if somehow we have missed you, please call the rectory (468-6101) and we will be happy to fill out a pledge card in your name.
The Archdiocese goal for 2008 is to collect $12 million in pledges and distribute all the money to the needy in the St Louis area. Our parish has been directly blessed by the generosity of the ACA in recent years. In 2007, we received $141,390 from the ACA and the Archdiocese...specifically $75,000 to support our schools revenue over 10 months, another $40,000 to pay down our school loan, $25,000 to support the parish and $1400 in tuition support. Already in 2008, we have received word of another $75,000 grant and another $40,000 loan repayment gift. Thus far in 2008, St Anthony Parish has donated $22,505 to the ACA Drive. So our Parish receives back roughly 6 times what we give to the campaign! Is that not incredible ?
All we ask is that you give what you can.

DONATIONS OVER THE WEB NOW ACCEPTED

If you have been reading the local news lately, you might have noticed that St. Louis area churches are finding ways for parishioners to donate to the church of their choice via the Internet, St Anthony’s is no exception. You can now donate to St. Anthony Parish from your home through our website using a credit or debit card. It’s easy and quick and your donation will be credited to your account with the Parish. Try it out… soon.
How does it work? Simple, just log on to the church website www.stanthonysullivan.com ( you are there already ) then
look at the top left side of the homepage for the window labeled Making Donations. If you are a first time donor via the website, click on the word here, it will take you to a screen that lets you register a username/password, your local address data and then make a donation using a credit card.
We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover cards...either credit or debit. Your donation is confirmed with a display of the data you submitted and later by forwarding a separate email with your donation data. If you are making a follow up donation, merely login with your user name and password and make your donation.
If you have any trouble whatsoever, please call Robin at the rectory at 468-6101. She will be receiving a copy of your donation via the Internet and will ensure it is properly recorded and secure.

JOIN THE ST. ANTHONY 150 CLUB FOR 2008

 The St. Anthony 150 Club is an exciting Parish Fundraiser for the benefit of the school and church. On January 24, 2009 we will host an elegant fellowship banquet for all members (and a guest) complete with an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, a very nice meal, a special desert, a live band,some form of entertainment, and many cash prizes ($1,000 top prize.) All is included in the $100 price of an annual membership.
If you are not already a member but would like to join the fun, a very limited number of memberships are still available through the rectory ( 573-468-6101).If you join soon,you will be also be eligible to participate in our monthly drawings for $100.

Wanted : ST. ANTHONY SCHOOL ALUMNI CONTACTS

 We would like to obtain an updated record of all graduates of St. Anthony school and form an active alumni association. Please click on the Alumni Registration Tab of this website and register today if you are an alumni of St Anthony school.
Wow, 60 years of graduates! Just think of the possibilities for such a group.
The timing couldn't be better. The new school is a beautiful demonstration of what can be accomplished when people unite for a common cause.
The Alumni Association will be an excellent opportunity for all graduates to reunite and determine how they would like to make a lasting impact on the lives of many future students of St. Anthony School in Sullivan, Missouri. By getting involved at the ground level,you will have the opportunity to set the direction for the Association. It is a unique time in St. Anthony School history. So, join in the fun.
In order to distribute information regarding the formation of the Alumni Association, we need addresses - AND LOTS OF THEM. Please submit your name and address to us, if you are a Graduate. Also, notify anyone you know who may be interested in more information about the Alumni Association.
